After Samsung brought Android 4.1 Jellybean ROM update for Galaxy S3 users in India now its HTC turn. HTC is a brand name in tech world and is known for world class quality and compatibility. According to an official report, HTC has started rolling out Android 4.1 Jellybean ROM update for HTC One X in India.
HTC One X comes is a 4.7 inches Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen device with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It was launched earlier this year during May 2012. It is stocked with Android 4.0 ICS OS and quad core CPU Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with 1.5 GHz chipset having 1 GB RAM. This combination is really very rare and is not found in most of its competitors. It is its specifications which push this device ahead of all its competitors and it emerged out as one of the best and fastest Android 4.0 stocked device. Till date, millions of its units are being sold out successfully. It comes with HTC Sense User Interface which is very user friendly and provides lots of comfort while accessing any of its feature.
Android 4.1 OTA update for HTC One X
This report comes from Twitter where one official claimed about latest update. HTC has started rolling this update from yesterday itself and it will get ported out for complete devices in few coming days. This new update comes with lots of features. It enables all HTC One X users to taste latest Jellybean build on their existing devices. It brings Project Butter interface which is more responsive and smooth compared to previous versions. It increase frame rate to 60 fps which automatically betters its fluid experience and screen viewing quality.
This update installs latest Sense 4+ UI on similar device and integrates all new Google Play Store apps at one place. It adds more languages to its existing library and with this update, users will now be able to use their device in regional languages like Punjabi, Malayalam, Kannada etc.

How to update
As it is a OTA update so you will automatically get notification about update (when it will be available for your device). However you can anytime check it from Setting>>System Updates menu option. This ROM files occupies 360 MB in space so it is advised to try this update in presence of strong Wi-Fi network. Please don’t try it with regular 2G network (avoid it with 3G too) as that will only introduce bugs to your device.
