Huawei Ascend D2: Another 5 Inch Device Launched With Quad Core CPU and 3,000 mAh Battery

Huawei recently outed the spec details of its latest high-end Android smartphone – the Honor 2. In a recent development, the Chinese tech vendor has finally joined the 5-inch Android phone competition Huawei Ascend D2 handset in China.
As far as the features are concerned, Huawei Ascend D2 will be carrying a 5-inch display with an unknown resolution, a quad-core 1.5GHz processor (likely its own K3V2). Further, Huawei Ascend D2 will also include 13 megapixel camera on back side, a front facing 1.3 megapixel snapper on front side, microSD card support, a 3,000mAh battery and it will come running on thelatest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
Reportedly, the company has informed the handset will also be upgradeable to the newly launched Android 4.2 version, which is a new flavor of Jelly Bean and it brings a set of new features such as Photo Sphere, new Clock app, Miracast wireless display support, Daydream, Gesture Typing, improved Google Now app and more.
Furthermore, the Huawei Honor 2 sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with a 1280 x 720 resolution and 326 pixels per inch, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera , a 1.3-megapixel front camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, microSD support, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, as well as a 2,230mAh battery.
On the pricing front, Huawei Honor 2 holds a price tag of 1,888 YUAN (approx. Rs 16,300) and will be made available to the Chinese markets sometime in early 2013.
