See where the technology is leading us today. Few years back, no one could have even think about having a smart camera with SIM feature but today, Samsung is making it true with its latest device “Samsung Galaxy Camera”. It is a smart 4.8 inches device having Super Clear LCD capacitive touchscreen with 720x1820 pixels resolutions. It houses a strong Cortex A9 series processor with Quad Core CPU and 1.4 GHz chipset. It comes with stock Android 4.1 Jellybean OS which is its strongest configuration. This smart device combines all the features of a professional camera with 16.3 MP lenses and a smartphone with SIM and Jellybean options.

Now you can root your Galaxy Camera on Android Jellybean and here I am with complete working tutorial. With rooted Galaxy Camera, you can enjoy all additional pre-villages of a rooted device like testing latest ROMs, plating rooted games/apps etc. Also you can now install various custom Recovery Images on the similar device which comes with plethora of features. Before heading towards main tutorial let me take you to a tour of all pre-requisites which you will have to fulfill before trying main tutorial. It is an easy update which can be accomplished using Odin tool.

Pre-Requisites
• Charge Galaxy Camera to at least 60% of its maximum potential
• Enable USB debugging through Setting menu
• Backup all your important data
• You can check remaining pre-requisites from here

How to update
As I said earlier that it is an Odin update which is easier than other manual updates. All you need to have is one Odin Package and one Rooting Package. You must download both the packages to your computer memory.

Files to download: Rooting Package
I am attaching Odin Package in main part i.e. in next step.

Once you have downloaded the Rooting Package to your computer, now you can proceed further towards how to root your Galaxy Camera using Odin. You can get step by step tutorial from here.

Please note that rooting will void your device warranty and neither we nor Samsung will be held responsible for any kind of bricking or damaging with your Galaxy Camera. So try it on your own risk. If you are getting some errors then please repeat the complete process (which is given in main step) after removing and re-inserting battery to your Galaxy Camera.
