Huaweis 6.3 mm thick unibody Android phone Edge leaked online
Just last month, we saw some rumours about a Huawei flagship smartphone that will be just 6.3mm thick and come with a 4.9-inch 1080p display.
Well, now we have a name as well as few images of the phone (actually images of the shell of this unibody phone).
These images have appeared on a Chinese site calledvrenren.com. The site is calling the smartphone as Huawei Edge, which might be a final branding or can also be a codename.
The accompanying details with these images are similar to what we have heard in the past.
The phone is expected to be powered by 1.8 GHz K3V3quad-core Cortex A15 processor. In addition, Huawei Edge will come with 2GB of RAM, 16/ 32GB of on-board storage, and 2,600 mAh battery.
On the imaging front, the Edge will come with 13MPrear camera and a front camera. It is rumoured to run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The smartphone is reportedly going to be launched in the second half ofthis year.
We might see it at Computex or IFA trade fair.We are not sure why Huawei wants to launch a phone that packs almost specs as its current flagship Ascend D2.
Unless, it is going in include some earth-shattering feature in Edge, there is no sense in launching another phone with same features as Ascend D2.
Anyways, we will know more in couple of months. More images of the phone below.
