You can expect the best phones under Rs 15,000 to come with 1080p displays and support 1080p/4K video recording. Snapdragon 820 followed by 653 are among the best processors in this budget, followed by the Snapdragon 650 and 625. The SD 615/430 is the bare minimum. We don’t recommend Snapdragon 410 in this budget (that leaves the Samsung Galaxy J5 and the Moto G3). You will also find models that come with 4GB RAM, which future proofs the device a bit.
Again, go only for 4G phones. You will also find a few models with 32GB internal storage, which is a plus. In terms of software, get something with atleast Android 6.0 that is expected to be updated to Android 7.0. Lastly, don’t blindly run after the megapixel count on the camera sensor. It doesn’t matter that much.
