One of the latest smartphones from Xolo - Q610s, which was listed online just a couple of days ago has now started selling via third party online retailer Infibean at the price of Rs. 7,499.
Lava's premium smartphone arm has also been launching regular low-end smartphones with Android KitKat at the same price range to milk the low-end smartphone market.
The latest device from Xolo doesn't have so much of an impressive hardware but it does offer a trending Android KitKat platform on the phone. However, at the given price point the phone does come with a quad core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, which is not too bad as well.
Xolo Q610s: Key Specifications
The latest Xolo Q610s sports a 4.5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) capacitive touchscreen IPS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with 416MHz Mali-400 MP2 GPU. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS and the CPU is supported by 1GB of RAM. Photography is taken care of by a 5MP rear camera, which is capable of recording 1080p video with LED Flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing snapper. Connectivity options include: 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and it is a Dual SIM smartphone with Dual Standby mode. The latest offering from Xolo houses 8GB of internal memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. The Xolo Q610s which measures 128 x 64.3 x 9.3 mm draws its energy from a 1700 mAh battery. Since the price segment of around Rs. 7,000 is pretty crowded, the Xolo Q610s smartphone will have to battle the odds out of its way. These rival consists of Micromax Canvas Unite, Canvas Engage, Lava Iris X1, Motorola Moto E and others.
