Samsung Galaxy Note III Features

Samsung's Galaxy Note III might be getting official on September 4 in Berlin but we have the confirmation on the Android version in the device. According to the device certification spotted on
DLNA website, this phablet will come with Android 4.3 on-board, making it the first (most probably) non-Nexus device to pack the latest Android
version.

The DLNA certification also reveals that the device will support Wi-Fi a/ac/b/g/n.

In related news, P**** ***** is reporting that they have learnt from an anonymous source that Note III will come with a 3,450 mAh battery, which
is a decent upgrade over the Note II.
This is also make the device one of the few mainstream Android smartphones to come with such a high-capacity battery.

While other specifications are still unconfirmed but it is quite certain that Note 3 will come with 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, LTE-A support
and 13MP rear camera. Some rumours also indicate that Note III will feature 3GB of RAM in addition to Snapdragon 800 or Exynos 5 Octa processor.

S******** has published a report just now, in which the site claims to have got its hands on the full specifications of Note III smartphone.
According to the site, Samsung Galaxy Note III will come with the following specifications, which includes a 3200 mAh battery and it contradicts with the Phone Arena report. We are more inclined to believe S******** given their past track record.

- 5.68-inch Full HD Super AMOLED
(1920 x 1080) display (almost
5.7-inch, it is very possible that
Samsung dubs the same display
as 5.7-inch)
- 1.8GHz Octa-core Exynos 5420

- ARM Mali-T628 MP6
- 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM
- 13MP rear camera with Optical
Image Stabilisation
- LTE support (dependent on the
variant)
- 16/32/64GB internal memory ?
microSD slot (up to 64G

Rumors all along have suggested that Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 will be around 5.7-inches in size
and according to this rumor, it will technically check in at 5.68-inches in size and boast a 1080p display, something else that has been rumored.

While this doesn't necessarily kill off rumors that suggested LCD displays, flexible displays, or displays with larger or smaller sizes, it does make them less likely.

13MP Camera with Optical Image Stabilization

Galaxy Note 3 rumors converged on a 13MP camera very early on and these rumors agree with the
earlier ones. What this means is that the Galaxy Note 3 should have a camera sensor that is on par with the Galaxy Note 3′s.

What’s more though is that these rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 will indeed have optical image stabilization that will ensure smooth looking
photos and video, without the blurriness.

Storage

Interestingly, the report claims that Samsung will announce its usual 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Galaxy Note variants but that it will be the 32GB Galaxy Note 3 that is the most prominent. In the past, we’ve seen the 16GB Galaxy Note emerge as the
adopted variant though that appears as though it might change with the Galaxy Note 3. It could be that the complaints about the Galaxy S4s storage
space, which was eaten up from the start by Samsung's hefty TouchWiz software, spurred this
decision. It is unclear if this means that carrier will adopt both the 16GB and 32GB models, or simply the 32GB model. In the past, carriers did not offer any options on the Galaxy Note so this is a good sign either way.

Design

There were rumors suggesting that Samsung might have a vastly different design up its sleeve but these rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 will
actually share a design with the Galaxy Note 2.
In fact, it's thought to have the same dimensions as the Galaxy Note 2 while also employing a larger display. The device was originally thought to be thinner than the Galaxy Note 2 which checks in at 9.3mm thin and weighs 180 grams. This also likely means that it will keep Samsung's iconic plastic
design with a removable back.

Processor

In addition, it appears that the device will sport 4G LTE and come with a 3,200 mAh battery and 3GB of RAM as has been rumored. It also should arrive
with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Of course, this all remains rumor until Samsung confirms it, it's
looking like this could be the makeup of the new Galaxy Note 3 phablet, Samsung's second big
smartphone of the year.
