Lenovo K4 Note, the successor of the popular Lenovo K3 Note, will be launched in India today. The Lenovo K3 Note was a disruptive budget smartphone that set the sub-Rs 10,000 market on fire.

The Lenovo K4 Note is expected to see some design changes. It seems Lenovo is planning to drop that rectangular block like design in favour of more sober looking Vibe series like design.

Lenovo K4 Note will retain the 5.5-inch Full HD display seen on its predecessor, but Lenovo on a far superior panel for this one.

Under the hood, the K4 Note will be powered by an octa-core processor, but clock speed and other details are yet to be known.

Thge biggest change from K3 Note will be the addition of fingerprint scanner. Since the Coolpad Note 3 with a rear fingerprint scanner, the feature has now turned into a must-have even on budget smartphones. Lenovo is also planning to add NFC to K4 Note which will make it future ready for NFC payment implementation.

Lenovo is also boasting of the hardware quality of K4 Note. The smartphone will come with dual front stereo speakers like Motorola devices and will support Dolby Atmos for superior audio quality.

It will be interesting to see whether Lenovo succeeds in keeping the price low for its next big budget smartphone play.

some of the features and specifications of the Lenovo K4 Note we know already thanks to the company. The newest Lenovo smartphone will come with 3GB of RAM as well as NFC, a feature not usually associated with budget smartphones. The K4 Note is also tipped to come with fingerprint sensor for "data protection" - now that's a feature we are seeing in more and more phones across various price segments.

Of course Lenovo has also been talking about the K4 Note featuring a "killer display" and, in its latest teaser, the K3 Note successor was tipped to come with dual front speakers.

Of course it's not long for us to find out a lot more about the Lenovo K4 Note when it gets launched in a few hours from now.
